SC10 Academy is led by a team of professional soccer players and performance specialists dedicated to developing the next generation of footballers in Calgary. From high-performance training and movement systems to technical and tactical development, every SC10 Academy coach brings real-world experience from professional and international environments.

SC10 ACADEMY | DIRECTOR

  • Sergio Camargo, SC10’s Academy Director, brings over a decade of professional playing experience to the development of Calgary’s next generation of athletes.

    His career at the highest level inspired him to build a program that prepares young players for what it truly takes to reach the top.

    As an original member of Cavalry FC in the Canadian Premier League, Sergio has helped lead the club to multiple regular-season titles and the 2024 CPL Championship, bringing a winning mentality and high standards into every training session.

    He also understands the development pathway firsthand — rising through the Toronto FC Academy and representing Canada at the 2011 U17 FIFA World Cup — giving him a rare perspective on what it takes to move from youth soccer into the professional game.

    This experience allows Sergio to provide young players with real-world insight, mentorship, and guidance as they navigate their own path toward the next level.

  • Iskander Van Doorne, Strength & Conditioning Coach at XONE Performance, brings a global, high-performance perspective to SC10 Academy.

    He is a former professional soccer player and performance coach with competitive experience across Canada, the United States, Germany, and Australia.

    He played professionally in Germany and Australia, gaining firsthand exposure to high-performance training environments and the physical demands required to compete at an elite level. Before his professional career, Iskander competed in NCAA Division III soccer, where he was named a First Team All-American and earned multiple All-Conference and All-Region honours.

    Iskander holds a degree in Sports Management from Calvin University (Michigan) and is a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA. His background allows him to combine applied sport science with real-world experience, delivering training that is both evidence-informed and adaptable to the individual.

  • Keelyn Stewart is a professional footballer currently playing for Calgary Wild FC, where she recently completed her first professional season. Her pathway includes representing Canada U-15 and Wales U-20, giving her insight into elite training environments and the demands of high-level competition.

    Keelyn began her youth career in Calgary with SWU and Foothills SC, and she is committed to helping build a stronger football community in the city. Through SC10 Academy, she aims to inspire young athletes to develop their skills, embrace challenges, and discover their passion for the game.

  • Taegan Stewart is a professional soccer player with the Calgary Wild FC, where she recently completed her first season and gained valuable high-performance experience. She has also represented Canada U-15 and Wales U-20, developing adaptability, resilience, and professionalism through international competition.

    Her youth career began in Calgary with SWU and Foothills FC, and she remains deeply connected to the local soccer community. Through SC10 Academy, Taegan is committed to inspiring young athletes across the city, helping the next generation build confidence, passion, and a lifelong love for the game.

  • James McGlinchey is a rising professional player with Cavalry FC and a proud product of the Foothills FC development system. Having spent his entire youth career in one of Calgary’s top academies, James brings a deep understanding of high-performance environments, hard work, and long-term player development.

    Alongside his playing career, James has experience coaching young athletes and is passionate about helping the next generation grow through SC10 Academy. He brings energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm to every session, creating an environment where players are challenged, supported, and inspired to improve.
